Mater Private Hospital Townsville are looking for Undergraduate Students in Nursing to join our casual pool. These casual roles will give you the opportunity to work across our Pimlico and Hyde Park campuses. These positions are scheduled to commence early September 2026.
You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of areas including surgical, medical, cardiac, orthopeadics, ICU and rehabilitation.
You will work under the direct supervision of the clinical team assisting with the care of patients as delegated by your team. You will consistently deliver a high level of clinical care to patients, demonstrating clinical knowledge and consult with your team to plan, deliver and evaluate patient centered care. Your scope is in alignment with your knowledge and competency requirements of your university studies. This role offers exceptional hands‑on experience that complements and enhances your formal studies.
Salary: $35.05 $38.38 per hour 25% Casual Loading plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900+ access to many staff benefits!
