Student Counsellor

Provide professional education counselling to prospective international students, helping them identify suitable study pathways based on their academic background, career goals, and eligibility.

Recruit and convert prospective students into successful enrolments while achieving individual and team recruitment targets.

Promote the company's education services and partner institutions with integrity, professionalism, and a strong customer-focused approach.

Manage the end-to-end admissions process, including application preparation, document verification, offer acceptance, and enrolment.

Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, education providers, and other stakeholders to enhance the company's reputation and service quality.

Ensure all student records, applications, and documentation are accurate, complete, and maintained in accordance with company policies and compliance requirements.

Work collaboratively with the migration and administration teams to ensure a seamless experience for students throughout the admissions and visa support process.

Follow company policies, procedures, and ethical standards while maintaining confidentiality of client information.

Stay up to date with education provider requirements, admission criteria, visa-related updates, and industry developments to provide accurate and reliable information.

Participate in marketing campaigns, education exhibitions, seminars, networking events, and other business development activities to generate new student enquiries.

Maintain regular communication with prospective and existing students, providing timely updates and exceptional customer service throughout their journey.

Achieve agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including student recruitment, application conversion, customer satisfaction, and service quality.

Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance the student experience, and contribute to the continuous growth and success of the company.

Responsibilities

Represent AIM Education & Migration Consultants professionally at all times and contribute positively to a collaborative, high-performing team culture.

Maintain the confidentiality, privacy, and security of all student, client, and company information in accordance with applicable privacy legislation and company policies.

Collect, use, store, and manage personal information responsibly, ensuring records are accurate, secure, and accessible only to authorised personnel.

Comply with all company policies, procedures, codes of conduct, and operational guidelines while performing duties ethically and professionally.

Follow established processes for handling documentation, data management, and communication to ensure compliance with regulatory and organisational requirements.

Promptly report any actual or suspected data breaches, privacy concerns, or policy non-compliance to management and cooperate with corrective actions.

Protect company assets, systems, and confidential business information by adhering to cybersecurity practices and information security procedures.

Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Marketing, Management, International Business, Communications, or a related field.

Must have Australia Education Agent Training Course (AEATC)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).

Previous experience in international student recruitment, education counselling, admissions, or customer service.

Knowledge of the Australian education system, admission processes, and international student requirements.

Familiarity with CRM or student management systems.

Ability to communicate in additional languages is an advantage.

Understanding of the National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students (National Code) and the Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) framework is desirable.
