About the Company
TAG have exciting opportunities for a Yard Hand to join a fast-paced operation in High Wycombe. This role offers consistent, ongoing work with strong weekly hours and immediate starts available.
Location: High Wycombe, WA
Shift: Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 4:00pm
Ongoing Opportunity / Immediate Start
We're currently seeking a reliable and motivated Yardperson to join a team in High Wycombe, WA. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, is physically active, and has a passion for vehicles.
About the Role
As a Yardperson, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the yard, ensuring vehicles are moved, inspected, cleaned and prepared efficiently. You'll work as part of a supportive team while using handheld technology to record vehicle movements and condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely drive and relocate vehicles within the yard.
- Record all vehicle movements using a handheld smart device.
- Conduct inbound and outbound vehicle inspections, including taking photos and documenting any damage.
- Wash and detail vehicles to ensure they are ready for transport or customer delivery.
- Perform basic vehicle tasks such as jump-starting batteries, changing flat tyres, charging batteries and refuelling vehicles.
- Use basic tools and equipment to assist with vehicle preparation and inspections.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A current Australian Driver's Licence (probationary licences are accepted).
- The ability to confidently drive both manual and automatic vehicles.
- Good physical fitness, as the role involves frequent walking and working in tight spaces.
- Confidence using handheld devices and basic tools.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team.
- A reliable and punctual work ethic.
