The Software Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing and maintaining Social Pro’s SaaS platform.
This role contributes to building scalable, secure and high-performing software solutions that support clients in managing social impact, procurement reporting and compliance requirements.
The Software Developer ensures code quality, system reliability and continuous innovation while collaborating closely with Product, Customer Success and Leadership.
Design, develop and deploy new features and enhancements.
Maintain and improve existing platform functionality.
Write clean, maintainable and well-documented code.
Participate in sprint planning and agile ceremonies.
Deliver projects within agreed timelines.
Monitor system performance and identify optimisation opportunities.
Troubleshoot and resolve defects and bugs.
Ensure scalability and reliability of the SaaS platform.
Maintain platform uptime and performance standards.
Implement secure coding practices.
Ensure data protection and compliance with privacy obligations.
Participate in risk assessments and vulnerability mitigation.
Protect intellectual property and proprietary systems.
Work closely with Product to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Support Customer Success in resolving technical issues.
Provide input into technical feasibility of new features.
Contribute to product roadmap discussions.
Identify opportunities to improve architecture, performance and development processes.
Contribute to automation and efficiency initiatives.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Recommend enhancements to maintain competitive advantage.
Maintain technical documentation.
Document architecture decisions and code changes.
Ensure compliance with internal coding standards and policies.
