MTX is seeking a highly skilled and client-focused Dynatrace Technical Consultant with hands‑on experience in consulting to support our clients in implementing, customising, and optimising the observability and IT service management (ITSM) platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in application performance monitoring with Dynatrace combined with hands‑on experience consulting experience. They will also be willing to work as part of a rostered 24/7 support team.

Key Responsibilities: \n

\n
• Design, implement, and maintain end‑to‑end Dynatrace infrastructure, ensure optimal deployment of OneAgents, ActiveGates, OpenPipelines, data ingestion patterns and cloud / on‑prem integrations.
\n
• Hands‑on development and customisation of Dynatrace plugins, extensions and custom applications to monitor complex distributed applications.
\n
• Design and manage multi‑tenant layouts using management zones, policies and custom metrics for data isolation and tailored views.
\n
• Define KPIs and configure alerting, anomaly detection, and auto‑remediation workflows.
\n
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Dynatrace configurations or customizations.
\n
• Design and configure advanced dashboards, monitoring, and intelligent alerting that reduce noise and accelerate mean time to resolution.
\n
• Monitoring critical applications availability and performance.
\n
• Configuring and managing OpenTelemetry, distributed tracing, and log management.
\n
• Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot performance issues and optimise user experience.
\n
• Assist in the integration and maintenance of Dynatrace with ServiceNow to automate incident creation, enrichment, and resolution workflows.
\n
• Support Dynatrace governance, security, and compliance practices.
\n
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement preventative solutions.
\n
• Desire to cross‑skill on platforms such as Mulesoft, AWS and ServiceNow.
\n
• Document technical processes and create user training materials as needed.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with the current team, maintain strong communication, and play an active role in mentoring and training team members.
\n

What you will bring: \n

\n
• 3-5 years of experience in Dynatrace platform implementation and administration .
\n
• Preferred Dynatrace Certified Professional
\n
• Strong understanding of monitoring, observability, and ITIL practices .
\n
• Strong expertise in any programming language, and REST/SOAP web services.
\n
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira.
\n
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
\n
• Excellent communication and client‑facing skills.
\n
