The Role

\n

As an Emergency Safety Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of emergency response capabilities at Osborne. This position operates on a rotating shift roster covering 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Flexibility and reliability are essential.

Osborne Naval Shipyard, SA - land based.

Essential Qualifications

• Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue OR
\n
• Certificate III in Public Safety OR
\n
• Certificate II in Public Safety
\n
• CPCCWHS1001 - White Card
\n
• HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid
\n
• HLTAID009 - Provide CPR
\n
• PUAFER008 - Confine small emergencies in a facility
\n
• PUAFIR207 - Operate Breathing Apparatus Open Circuit
\n
• RIIWHS204E - Work Safely at Heights
\n
• RIIWHS202E - Enter and work in confined spaces
\n
• MSMWHS217 - Gas Test Atmospheres
\n
• National Police Clearance (issued within the last 3 months)
\n
• Australian Citizenship
\n
• Currently hold or ability to gain NSSIC
\n
• Currently hold or ability to gain NV1 security clearance
\n
