Our client is one of the world’s largest cotton players, with a strong Australian footprint that includes seven cotton gins and a major Dalby warehouse operation. Supported by a globally recognised agribusiness, this role offers strong job security and long-term career growth.

Their Dalby warehouse is a significant operation supporting cotton storage, handling, logistics and export supply. It plays a key role in the broader cotton network, working closely with gin operations, commercial planning, transport, export and biosecurity stakeholders.

The Role

Reporting to the General Manager - Cotton Operations, this role leads warehouse performance across safety, workforce planning, inventory, logistics, biosecurity, cost control and budget delivery. It suits a practical leader who can earn trust on the floor and use data to manage seasonal demand.

Duties:

  • Lead warehouse safety, productivity and operational accountability
  • Manage labour planning, seasonal workforce needs and team performance
  • Drive inventory accuracy, SAP scheduling and documentation discipline
  • Coordinate logistics, transport, container movements and export flow
  • Deliver budget outcomes through labour, equipment and cost control

Skills & experience:

  • Senior warehousing, logistics or supply chain leadership experience
  • Experience managing Leading Hands, operators and seasonal labour
  • SAP or similar ERP/WMS capability for planning and reporting
  • Valid driver’s licence and forklift licence
  • Strong commercial discipline across budgets, labour and equipment use
