2 x Locum Podiatrist – remote health and outreach

• ASAP start for 8-12 weeks + possible extension
• Locum rates $$ + accommodation and travel provided
• Community and outreach

2 x Locum Podiatrists required for locum roles in Outback Queensland. I’ve had great feedback from other locums. You will join a team of allied health clinicians and cover:

• Initial assessments and reviews
• Diabetic foot assessments
• General nail care and treatment
• Biomechanical and orthotics
• A generalist caseload predominantly for low to moderate risk clients
• Outreach involving road and sometimes aircraft with overnight travel. The multidisciplinary team provides outreach to communities in the area
• Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander population as well as general population
• Monday – Friday. The hours are flexible to account for time spent travelling to outreach sites.
• There are two locations available.

Additional Information:

• August/September for 8-12 weeks + longer term options also available.
• Locum rates based on experience, more for ABN.
• Potential for PAYG living away from home benefits (more take home pay, usually $5-7 dollars more an hour!).
• FREE accommodation, a private room in a share house. There may or may not be other occupants depending on timing. A car is also provided for local use.
• Return flights reimbursed.
