Location: Onsite | Melbourne Caulfield Office
Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time
Salary: Starting from $85,000 Inclusive of Superannuation

Applicants must be an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, or a New Zealand citizen holding a Special Category (subclass 444) visa with unrestricted work rights in Australia.

We're looking for an experienced NDIS Funding & Billing Coordinator to join our Melbourne (Caulfield) team.

This is not a Plan Management role. Instead, we're seeking someone with strong NDIS funding, billing and invoice management experience who can apply their expertise to support our national operations, provide day-to-day oversight of our non-clinical administration team, and help ensure the accurate and efficient management of funding and billing across the organisation.

While the majority of our services are delivered under the NDIS, this role will also provide oversight and support across other funding streams, including private, Medicare and aged care. You'll play a key role in ensuring our funding, billing and invoicing processes remain accurate, compliant and scalable as Connect2Care continues to grow.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide day-to-day oversight and support to our administration team in relation to NDIS funding management and invoicing.
  • Oversee daily invoicing to ensure accuracy and compliance with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits.
  • Develop and improve internal processes relating to NDIS billing, funding management and administration.
  • Support clinicians and administration staff with NDIS funding queries.
  • Investigate and resolve rejected claims, payment issues and invoicing discrepancies.
  • Manage outstanding invoices and support accounts receivable activities.
  • Build strong relationships with participants, plan managers, support coordinators and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of additional funding and billing streams, including private clients, Medicare, aged care and other funding models, to support the broader needs of the organisation

Requirements

We're looking for someone who understands the NDIS inside and out.

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience working within an NDIS Plan Management organisation, NDIS provider, or similar funding administration role.
  • Strong understanding of NDIS funding, budgets, service bookings, claims and invoicing.
  • Experience interpreting NDIS Pricing Arrangements and participant funding.
  • Knowledge of PRODA, the NDIS Portal and/or PACE is highly regarded.
  • Experience in accounts receivable, invoice reconciliation or funding administration.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • The confidence to support and guide administration staff while working collaboratively across teams.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
