Job Description

The Salesforce Principal Consultant is a senior client-facing leadership role within Scyne’s Transformation practice, responsible for initiating, influencing and delivering high-impact Salesforce-enabled transformation for public purpose clients. This role will provide strategic direction across complex Salesforce programs, lead client teams and projects, contribute to new and existing client work, and help shape scalable, sustainable solutions that enable the acceleration of performance improvement and business outcomes. The role requires a leader who can operate as a trusted advisor to C suite stakeholders, translate business and policy priorities into practical technology outcomes, and work collaboratively across Scyne to drive commercial success, innovation and client impact.

There is flexibility for the position to be based in any of our national offices: Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane, Perth or Adelaide. Regular interstate travel may be required.

In this role as a Director, you will:

• Lead Salesforce-enabled transformation programs for public purpose clients, shaping strategy, solutions and delivery approaches that create meaningful impact.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, translating complex business, policy and service delivery needs into practical Salesforce outcomes.
• Lead client teams and multi-disciplinary delivery teams across Salesforce advisory, architecture, implementation and optimisation.
• Drive business development activity including proposals, solution shaping in our Architecture & Technology practice, supporting new pursuits and pipeline growth.
• Provide technical and commercial leadership across delivery quality, project performance, risk, utilisation and client outcomes.
• Coach and develop consultants, contribute to Salesforce capability uplift, and help build a high-performing, collaborative and innovative team.

Technically, you will bring to the position demonstrated experience in working on transformation programs, with several of the following:

• Significant experience leading Salesforce advisory, delivery or implementation programs.
• Proven track record leading increasingly complex client projects, including responsibility for project outcomes, stakeholder engagement, solution quality, team performance and commercial results.
• Demonstrated ability to develop new client work, support account growth, contribute to revenue targets and lead proposals, solution shaping and business development activity.
• Deep understanding of the Salesforce platform and ecosystem, including relevant clouds, architecture considerations, integration, data, security, governance, adoption and release management.
• Experience translating business, policy and service delivery needs into Salesforce-enabled solutions that improve client outcomes, user experience, operational performance and digital maturity.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams across business analysis, architecture, configuration, development, testing, change, deployment and optimisation activities.
• Strong commercial acumen, including experience managing pipeline, utilisation, project economics, work in progress, billing, risk, quality and delivery governance.
• Relevant Salesforce certifications are highly desirable
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in technology, business, information systems, or a related discipline are desirable.

Previous consulting experience is favourable. This will allow you to hit the ground running, leading consulting engagements and being directly involved in the day-to-day management of our local Transformation practice. As a Director, you will also develop new project work with existing clients and through creating new client relationships.
