Experienced Tree Worker / EWP Operator

If you’re an experienced Tree Worker who likes variety, being outdoors and getting stuck into a mix of work, this could be a great fit. We’re looking for a practical, safety-focused all-rounder to join our Commercial team in Hobart.

About the role: This is a hands-on role where no two days look exactly the same. You’ll support commercial tree work across Hobart and surrounding areas, operating an EWP and other machinery depending on your experience, while also helping the crew with hand cutting and general tree work when machinery-based work is quieter.

• Operating an Elevated Work Platform (EWP) or machinery, depending on your skills and experience
• Completing hand cutting, chipping, site clean-up and general crew duties
• Supporting safe and efficient commercial vegetation management works
• Working outdoors across a range of sites throughout Hobart and surrounding areas
• Being part of a crew that values teamwork, safety and getting the job done well

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in tree work, vegetation management, arboriculture or a similar outdoor operational role
• A current drivers’ licence (essential)
• EWP experience or machinery experience (highly regarded)
• A willingness to jump in and help with hand cutting and general crew duties when needed
• MR/HR Truck licence (highly regarded)
• Chainsaw operation qualifications or experience (highly regarded)
• A strong focus on safety, teamwork and doing quality work

Great, but not essential:

• White card
• First aid/CPR
