Section Waiter

We are a vibrant, fast-paced Italian restaurant known for our premium food and beverage offering and second to none customer service. We pride ourselves on creating a memorable dining experiences and fostering a supportive team environment. We are seeking an energetic and experienced Section Waiter to join our front of house team. In this role, you will be looking after a section. Ensuring our guests receive seamless, attentive service from the moment they are seated and until they leave. Responsibilities Guest Relations: Welcome customers warmly, present menus, and manage table sections efficiently. Order Management: Take accurate food and beverage orders via our POS system and communicate dietary requirements clearly to the kitchen. Menu Expertise: Confidently explain menu items, ingredients, and daily specials, offering tailored beverage pairings where appropriate. Table Service: Serve food and drinks promptly, clear tables and maintain a clean space. Financial Transactions: Process bill payments accurately using EFTPOS and POS systems. Compliance & Safety: Maintain high food hygiene standards and responsibly serve alcohol in accordance with the law. Skills & Experience Industry Experience: Minimum 1 year experience as a waiter or server in a similar role Certification: A valid state-approved Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Do Food Safely certificate is mandatory. Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, confident presentation style. Efficiency: Ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure during peak rush periods, and work well within a team. Availability: Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends, evenings, and public holidays. We Offer Competitive hourly rates with applicable weekend and public holiday penalty rates.
