Our client is a growing, family-owned grazing business operating across western Queensland, with a strong focus on commercial Merino wool and beef production. They are actively investing in long-term property improvements, including fencing, water infrastructure and practical station systems that support better day-to-day management.
This is a hands-on, family-oriented operation where the owners remain closely involved and provide support during major livestock programs. The role is based on a large mixed sheep and cattle station near Winton, suited to someone who enjoys remote station life, practical autonomy and taking pride in a well-run property.
The Role
Reporting directly to the owners, the Station Manager will take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of a mixed grazing enterprise running Merino sheep and breeding cattle. This is a practical, independent role covering livestock, water, machinery, contractors, maintenance planning and ongoing property improvement work.

You will be a practical station operator with strong sheep experience, sound cattle knowledge and the confidence to work independently in a remote location. You will be organised, reliable and able to communicate well with owners, contractors and support staff.
