Senior Commercial HVAC Service Technician

We're partnering with a leading commercial HVAC contractor that has built an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality maintenance, breakdown and repair services across Melbourne. Due to continued growth, they're looking to add an experienced Senior HVAC Service Technician to their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys fault finding, working autonomously and taking ownership of a diverse range of commercial sites.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a broad range of commercial HVAC systems across multiple client sites.

Duties Include

• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Reactive breakdowns and fault finding
• Repairs and component replacements
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
• Commissioning where required
• Completing service reports and documentation
• Providing excellent customer service on site
• Liaising with clients and site managers
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard

• Chillers
• VRF / VRV systems
• Package units
• Split and ducted systems
• Air Handling Units (AHUs)
• Fan Coil Units (FCUs)
• Ventilation systems
• Pumps
• Commercial HVAC plant
• Building Management Systems (desirable)

About You

To Be Successful You'll Ideally Have

• Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial HVAC service
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience carrying out preventative maintenance and reactive service work
• ARCtick Licence
• Refrigerant Handling Licence
• Cert 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• White Card
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own day

Dual Trade (HVAC & Electrical) experience will be highly regarded but is not essential.
