At Avina, we're a national allied health and behaviour support organisation supporting communities across Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia.

Our values guide how we work every day:
Progressive | Curious | Respectful | Collaborative | Informed | Purposeful

About the Role
We're looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our Port Pirie team, servicing the surrounding area.

We find our caseloads here typically lean heavily paediatric, with a smaller adult component. You'll be part of a small, close-knit team, working alongside Behaviour Support colleagues, with strong virtual connections to the wider Avina network. Open to full-time and part-time.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Deliver person-centred OT services across home, school, clinic and community settings
  • Complete assessments, intervention planning and ongoing therapy
  • Support participants with disability, including autism, ADHD, intellectual disability and global developmental delay
  • Collaborate with families, carers, educators and the broader multidisciplinary team
  • Manage a varied caseload across community and clinic
  • Take part in regular supervision, peer collaboration and professional development

What We Offer

  • Regular clinical supervision and clinical support
  • Flexible working arrangements
  • Multidisciplinary collaboration and peer learning, including connection to a wider professional network via telehealth
  • Achievable KPIs that support a healthy work-life balance
  • Ongoing professional development and real career progression
  • A national organisation with local team connection
  • The systems and resources to support solid clinical practice

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy
  • Current AHPRA registration (or eligibility)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain
  • Driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle, this role involves community-based work, so this is genuinely required
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A collaborative and person-centred approach to therapy

If you're keen to build skills across a varied caseload, with real supervision and a genuinely supportive team behind you, we'd like to hear from you.
