This apprenticeship opportunity is a chance to learn from experienced tradespeople work with real equipment and develop the practical skills that can set you up for a long-term career in mechanical fitting.
About the opportunity
This fixed-term apprenticeship runs for up to four years and is designed to support you as you learn the assembly disassembly maintenance and overhaul of underground mining materials handling equipment. By the end of the apprenticeship you will have the opportunity to become a qualified Fitter & Turner and build a strong foundation for a career in the mechanical trade.
Youll gain exposure to conveyor components gearboxes driveline equipment winching equipment hydraulic power packs and hydraulic-driven equipment while learning how to work safely and accurately in a busy workshop environment.
