Location: Mayfield, NSW
\n Routes: Regular routes include local travel, as well as deliveries to various customer sites across Sydney and the Newcastle region.
\n Shifts: AM Shift available

\n

What you'll do:

\n

\n
• Operate Single & B-Double combinations to transport steel products across key customer sites
\n
• Transport steel products safely with strong awareness of load restraint
\n
• Ensure timely and efficient pick-up and delivery of freight, maintaining adherence to schedules.
\n
• Accurately complete electronic reporting systems and other required documentation.
\n
• Comply withall company/site policies and state and national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.
\n
• Adhere to all site load restraint guidelines & policies to ensure freight is securely transported.
\n

What you'll bring:

\n

\n
• Current HC or MC license with minimum 2 years' Australian driving experience
\n
• Proven experience operating Single & B-Double combinations
\n
• Strong understanding of load restraint guidelines (steel experience preferred but not essential)
\n
• Provide a full 5-year demerit point history report.
\n
• Complete Visy Practical Driver Assessment.
\n
• Excellent communication, time managementskillsand a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
\n
• A comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws.
\n
• Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
\n
• Ability to meet customer compliance KPI standards with accuracy and consistency
