About the role

\n

We're looking for a hands-on, detail-focused Quality Assurance Coordinator to join the team at theit Sydney facility. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you'll play a key role in maintaining and strengthening the site's food safety and quality systems, making sure specialty cheese products consistently meet the high standards customers and consumers expect.

What you'll be doing

• Supporting the day-to-day implementation and maintenance of the site's food safety and quality management systems (HACCP and GFSI - SQF or BRC)
\n
• Conducting routine quality checks, product inspections and environmental monitoring across production and packaging
\n
• Maintaining accurate quality records, documentation and traceability in line with regulatory and customer requirements
\n
• Assisting in the coordination and hosting of internal, customer and third-party audits, and supporting the close-out of corrective actions
\n
• Investigating non-conformances, customer complaints and quality incidents, supporting root-cause analysis and continuous improvement
\n
• Monitoring compliance with allergen management, labelling and specification requirements
\n
• Working closely with production teams to build and reinforce a strong food safety culture on the floor

About you

\n

\n
• Previous experience in a quality assurance or food safety role within food or dairy manufacturing
\n
• Working knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards (SQF, BRC or equivalent)
\n
• Strong attention to detail, record-keeping discipline and a methodical approach to problem solving
\n
• A confident communicator who can engage effectively with production teams and external auditors
\n
• A tertiary qualification in food science, food technology or a related discipline is well regarded
\n
• A genuine interest in quality, food safety and supporting a proud Australian dairy business
