The Opportunity

\n

We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant/Cook to join our team at Prunus Lodge in our Central West Region. A great opportunity exists, with availability required on weekends, for someone to perform cooking and kitchen duties.

\n

We are seeking people to provide a high standard of quality care to facility residents, by providing and maintaining a high standard of cooking and food service within the facility.

\n

What you will bring to the role:

\n

\n
• Experienced in planning, preparation and cooking fresh meals
\n
• Experience in table service and clearing duties
\n
• Experience in working in a fast-paced kitchen and or bulk food preparation – desirable
\n
• Knowledge and experience in working to the compliance of the Food Safety Standards to HACCP level
\n
• Knowledge and experience in working to the compliance of the Food Safety Standards to HACCP level
\n
• Experience in Aged Care desirable
\n
• Current First Aid Certificate desirable
\n
• Excellent communication skills
\n
• Team player who is highly motivated
\n
• Availability to work various shifts across various days
\n
