Your Role

\n

As a Bar Attendant, you'll deliver exceptional beverage service across Hamilton Island's premium bars and restaurants. You'll prepare expertly crafted cocktails, engage confidently with guests and maintain the highest standards of consistency, efficiency and professionalism during every service.

• Prepare premium cocktails to a consistently high standard in fast-paced service
\n
• Deliver knowledgeable, engaging and professional beverage service
\n
• Demonstrate strong product knowledge across cocktails, spirits, wine, beer and premium beverages
\n
• Confidently recommend cocktails and beverages to enhance the guest experience
\n
• Work efficiently during high-volume service while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
\n
• Support mise en place, cocktail batching and stock preparation for seamless service
\n
• Maintain exemplary hygiene, presentation and Responsible Service of Alcohol standards
\n
• Collaborate closely with the wider Food & Beverage team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
\n

What we're looking for

\n

You're an experienced bar professional who has built your career behind premium bars and takes genuine pride in your craft. You understand the importance of consistency, speed and guest engagement, and you're passionate about producing exceptional cocktails while maintaining outstanding service standards.

\n

To be successful, you will need:

\n

\n
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a premium cocktail bar, luxury hotel, high-end restaurant or similar hospitality venue
\n
• Demonstrated experience producing high-quality cocktails in a fast-paced environment
\n
• Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, liqueurs and premium beverage service
\n
• Experience with cocktail batching and service preparation is highly regarded
\n
• A polished, confident and professional approach with excellent communication skills
\n
• Proven ability to maintain exceptional service standards under pressure
\n
• A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
\n
• Current Queensland RSA or Nationally Recognised Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (Essential)
