As Moco continues to grow, we're looking for a commercially minded Purchasing Officer who thrives on planning, problem solving and making things happen. This is an opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring we always have the right products, at the right time, while helping optimise inventory, reduce waste and strengthen supplier performance.

\n

About the Role

\n

This is far more than raising purchase orders.

\n

You'll be responsible for planning inventory, managing supplier relationships, forecasting demand and ensuring stock is available to support one of Queensland's fast-growing foodservice businesses.

\n

Working closely with Category Managers, Warehouse, Sales and Finance, you'll analyse trends, respond to changing demand, manage supplier performance and continually look for opportunities to improve inventory health, reduce waste and deliver outstanding service to our customers.

\n

Skills, Experience & Attributes

\n

\n
• Experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory planning or supply chain.
\n
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret trends and make informed decisions.
\n
• High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
\n
• Strong Excel skills and experience working within ERP systems.
\n
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to build strong supplier and stakeholder relationships.
\n
• Experience within food, FMCG, wholesale or distribution will be highly regarded.
\n
• Knowledge of forecasting, inventory management and supplier planning processes.
\n
• Work within Moco's brand new, state-of-the-art facility in Wacol, with plenty of on-site parking available
