Have you worked in quality restaurants, hotels or high-end kitchens in the UK, Ireland, Europe or Australia?
Taxi Kitchen is looking for passionate, hardworking chefs who take pride in great produce, exceptional technique and delivering memorable dining experiences.
Located in Melbourne's iconic Federation Square, Taxi Kitchen is a modern Australian restaurant with a menu influenced by the world's great food cultures. We believe in cooking with purpose, respecting ingredients and constantly striving to improve.

What We're Looking For
Experience working in a professional commercial kitchen
Passion for quality produce and seasonal cooking
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent knife skills and attention to detail
Ability to work cleanly and efficiently under pressure
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Pride in consistency, preparation and presentation
A genuine team player who thrives in a professional kitchen
Full Australian working rights or a valid Working Holiday Visa
Your Responsibilities
Prepare and cook dishes to a consistently high standard
Maintain exceptional mise en place and station organisation
Work collaboratively with the senior kitchen team throughout service
Follow recipes and specifications with precision
Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation and food safety
Work alongside one of Melbourne's leading chef teams
Staff meals provided on shift
Ongoing training, mentoring and career development
Exposure to modern Australian cuisine with global influences
A professional kitchen that values teamwork, respect, discipline and continuous improvement
