About the Opportunity

\n

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Client Services Manager to join a well-established and highly regarded financial planning practice.

\n

Working closely with a team of Financial Advisers, you'll provide high-quality client service and administrative support throughout the financial planning process.

\n

This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys the client service side of financial planning and is looking to establish a long-term career within a professional and supportive practice. Takes pride in delivering exceptional service and thrives within a professional and collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

\n

    \n
  • Greeting clients upon arrival at the office.
    • \n
  • Answering incoming calls and responding to client enquiries.
    • \n
  • Liaising with clients regarding administrative and service-related matters.
    • \n
  • Preparing and lodging third-party information release forms.
    • \n
  • Liaising with fund managers and other industry providers.
    • \n
  • Preparing Client Service Agreement documents where required.
    • \n
  • Preparing and lodging application forms, policy alterations and withdrawals, and following matters through to completion.
    • \n
  • Preparing Record of Advice documentation where required.
    • \n
  • Implementing advice documentation and following matters through to completion.
    • \n
  • Preparing client review documentation and coordinating client review appointments.
    • \n
  • Assisting Financial Advisers and clients with ad hoc requests.
    • \n
  • Maintaining accurate client records through Xplan database administration.
    • \n
  • Working with Financial Advisers on product research using WealthSolver, Risk Researcher and Xplan financial modelling.
    • \n
  • Assisting with the coordination of client functions.
    • \n
  • Working collaboratively within a team, including offshore staff.
    • \n

About You

\n

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

\n

    \n
  • Previous experience in a client service, administration or customer support role within financial services, professional services or a similar client-focused environment.
    • \n
  • A tertiary qualification in Financial Planning, Finance or a related discipline.
    • \n
  • A genuine interest in establishing a long-term career within the financial planning industry.
    • \n
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • \n
  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
    • \n
  • The ability to manage competing priorities while consistently meeting deadlines.
    • \n
  • A proactive, professional and client-focused approach.
    • \n
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
    • \n
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a professional team environment.
    • \n

Highly Regarded

\n

    \n
  • Experience using Xplan & exposure to financial planning platforms such as North, MLC or Expand.
    • \n
  • Previous experience supporting Financial Advisers or working within a financial planning or wealth management practice.
    • \n
