My client, a reputable Australian Household name, is seeking the an experienced D365 BC Consultant with leadership experience to join their growing team.

This is a permanent role based Inner West Sydney and would be open to hybrid work.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, finance, business administration or related field.

Responsibility:

• Supervise, allocate work, and mentor a cross functional team in the maintenance, improvement and support of Commercial application systems. Lead best practices to guarantee the reliability and scalability of the platform and processes.
• Lead and provide hands-on applications support for the Commercial business, perform investigation and issue replication to resolve incidents. Allocate and review open tickets to be resolved within SLA by the functional team.
• Be the Expert in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platforms championing the platform across Commercials.
• Lead the gathering, analysis and documentation of business requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic Commercial business objectives. Work closely with the technical teams to bring the solutions to life.
• Lead and provide hands-on applications support for the Commercial business, perform investigation and issue replication to resolve incidents. Allocate and review open tickets to be resolved within SLA by the functional team.
• Be the Expert in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platforms championing the platform across Commercials.
• Lead the gathering, analysis and documentation of business requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic Commercial business objectives. Work closely with the technical teams to bring the solutions to life.
• Be the expert for the Dynamics 365 Platform for the Organisation.
• Facilitate and conduct user training, workshops and ongoing knowledge support to promote system adoption and maximise efficiencies.
• Support change management activities including go-live planning, risk mitigation, and post deployment support
• Be the hands-on support lead for the D365 applications including Business Central and Customer Engagement including other platform extensions and integration applications.
• Collaborate with the technical team, other teams and external vendors to resolve incidents and action service requests.
• Escalate issues to the relevant parties as required.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation such as knowledge base articles, functional design documents, process flows, test cases, and user guides.
• Take the lead in working with the commercial business stakeholders to gather, analyse and document business requirements that align with the business objectives.
• Develop functional specifications and work with the technical analysts and developers for the solution delivery.
• Setup a schedule and monitor the proactive review of all module configuration.
• Configure core modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, Inventory, Sales, Purchasing, Logistic, and Manufacturing based on business needs and industry best practices.
• Provide regular reporting to the Commercial Applications Delivery Manager for all support statuses and plans to resolve.

Knowledge/ Skills:

• 3-5 years deep functional knowledge of D365 BC modules and their dependencies.
• Experience in implementing D365 Business Central either individually or as part of a team.
• BC customisation, API intergration experience
• Industry experience: B2B, warehousing, supply chain and finance domains are highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills across different vendors and 3rd parties.
• Strong experience in translating business requirements into actionable solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, supply chain, and IT.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
• High proficiency in creating functional documentation and process mapping.
• Experience in using ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Teams and MS Office Applications.
• Relevant D365 Business Central, Functional Analysis certifications are advantageous.
• Familiarity with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and iterative project delivery.
