What you’ll do:

• Lead and oversee finance function modernisation engagements, driving the shift from transaction processing to data‑led insights that enable trusted, strategic decision making.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of complex process optimisation and transformation programs, including activity analysis, risk & control framework design, continuous monitoring, and embedding sustainable improvements.
• Provide strategic finance system implementation support across business cases, operating model design, chart of accounts, program governance, and control assurance.
• Lead cost optimisation initiatives by defining operating models, identifying commercial benefits, and securing stakeholder alignment to fund modernisation programs.
• Drive governance, accounting, integration, and synergy realisation in transactional change activities, including pre‑ and post‑deal support.
• Build and nurture strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, understanding their strategic priorities, and tailoring solutions to meet evolving business needs.
• Mentor and develop high‑performing teams, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture focused on innovation and excellence.
• Contribute to business development activities, including proposal development, thought leadership, and market insights.

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, external audit, consulting or a related field, with demonstrated progression to senior management roles.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• CA qualification or equivalent professional accounting designation.
• Proven experience leading large, complex finance transformation, process optimisation, and finance systems implementation engagements.
• Strong expertise in risk & controls, financial reporting, technical and management accounting, budgeting, and commercial finance.
• Exceptional strategic and critical thinking skills, with the ability to distil complex issues, advise on risk and opportunity, and deliver actionable insights.
• Outstanding leadership and people management capabilities, with experience leading multidisciplinary teams and developing junior staff.
• Excellent client relationship management skills and a proven track record of managing engagement profitability and growth.
• Strong attention to detail combined with an ability to deliver high‑quality, client‑ready reports and presentations whilst maintaining PwC’s Risk & Quality standards.
