Our Client: CBC Staff Selection is partnering with a well-established organisation operating within the maritime, industrial and heavy asset sector. Supporting large-scale projects and ongoing operational requirements, this business plays an important role in maintaining critical infrastructure and supply chain operations across Northern Australia.

The Opportunity: An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead a large operational warehouse function based in Cairns.

\n

Managing a team of approximately 10-15 employees, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of warehouse operations, inventory control, team performance and continuous improvement initiatives.

\n

This role will suit a hands‐on leader who enjoys developing teams, improving processes and driving operational excellence. Working closely with senior stakeholders across supply chain, procurement and operations, you will play a key role in strengthening warehouse performance while supporting broader business objectives.

\n

Skills & Experience: Reporting into senior supply chain leadership, you will take ownership of warehouse operations, inventory control, team performance and warehouse governance.

\n

To be successful, you will demonstrate:

• Proven experience leading warehouse, logistics or supply chain operations
\n
• Strong people leadership skills with experience managing operational teams
\n
• Experience within maritime, shipbuilding, manufacturing, defence, heavy industry or similarly complex environments highly regarded
\n
• Sound inventory management and warehouse governance experience
\n
• Experience working with ERP or warehouse management systems (IFS advantageous)
\n
• Demonstrated ability to improve processes, efficiency and operational performance
\n
• Current Driver Licence
\n
