The Opportunity

An opportunity is available for a Senior Associate or Vice President to join the Sydney team, with a focus on General Industrials and Financial Sponsors.

Working closely with senior bankers, the successful candidate will play a central role in originating and executing buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions and strategic advisory mandates.

This is a hands-on position offering significant responsibility across the full transaction lifecycle, including:

  • Contributing to the continued growth of the General Industrials and Sponsors franchise

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Approximately five to eight years’ relevant experience within investment banking, corporate advisory or a leading Big Four corporate finance team
  • Strong M&A transaction experience, including involvement across the full deal process
  • Excellent financial modelling, valuation and analytical capabilities
  • Exposure to General Industrials, private equity sponsors or broader generalist coverage
  • The ability to manage multiple workstreams and take ownership of transaction execution
  • Strong communication, presentation and client-management skills

  • A collaborative, commercially minded and team-oriented approach

This role would suit an ambitious banker seeking greater transaction responsibility, senior client exposure and the opportunity to progress within a respected and entrepreneurial advisory firm.
