As part of the Financial Control team within La Trobe Financial, your primary responsibility is to support the financial integrity and reporting of the Group’s corporate entities. This includes supporting the month-end close process by ensuring journal entries, intercompany reconciliations and KPI analysis are performed on a timely and accurate basis. You will perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items.
As a Senior Accountant, you will assist in the preparation of the statutory financial reports, working closely with external audit and have a strong risk-mindset with adherence to the internal control environment.
This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building stakeholder relationships, both within and outside Finance, and who is looking to grow their career within a fast-paced organisation.
The successful applicant will be CA or CPA qualified and hold over 2 years in a commercial setting. Additional skills and experience required include:
