  • Act as the escalation point for complex payroll queries and stakeholder matters.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian payroll legislation, Single Touch Payroll requirements, superannuation obligations and company policies.
  • Manage payroll reconciliations, reporting, salary packaging and audit requirements.
  • Partner closely with Finance and People & Culture teams on payroll-related matters.
  • Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations and management insights.
  • Support payroll projects, system enhancements, testing activities and process improvements.
  • Assist with month-end activities and maintain strong payroll controls and documentation.
  • Provide support across payroll systems administration and troubleshooting activities.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Extensive end-to-end payroll management experience within a medium to large organisation.
  • Strong experience managing both fortnightly and monthly payroll cycles.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience within a payroll function.
  • Sound knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards, superannuation and compliance requirements.
  • Strong stakeholder management, reporting and reconciliation skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • A highly organised and detail-oriented approach.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven Aurion Payroll system experience is mandatory.
  • Experience leading payroll operations in complex environments.
  • Availability to commence at short notice or immediately.

Desirable

  • Exposure to Workday.
  • Experience within professional services, legal, financial services or similarly complex environments.

What's on Offer

  • Immediate start opportunity.
  • 3-month contract assignment.
  • High-profile global organisation.
  • Collaborative and professional working environment.
  • Opportunity to lead a critical payroll function and contribute to key payroll initiatives.
