Woods & Co Recruitment are partnering with a rapidly growing digital media business specialising in performance-led advertising to find an experienced Media Sales Director to join their national team.

This is a highly commercial role for someone who knows the media landscape, enjoys opening doors and has the relationships to get in front of the right people. You’ll take ownership of revenue growth across agency and direct clients, while working closely with internal specialists to build media solutions that deliver genuine results.

What will you do?

• Build and manage a strong pipeline of new business across agency and direct clients
• Leverage your existing industry relationships to create new commercial opportunities
• Own the sales process from initial prospecting through to pitch, negotiation and close
• Develop long-term relationships with key clients and identify opportunities to increase revenue
• Work with internal teams to develop media strategies and solutions around each client's objectives
• Help clients understand how digital media can drive stronger commercial outcomes
• Stay close to developments across digital advertising, media and ad tech
• Maintain accurate pipeline and client activity through the CRM
• Take ownership of revenue targets and contribute to the broader commercial strategy

What do you need?

• 3+ years' experience in digital media sales or a closely related commercial media role
• A strong network across agencies, advertisers or direct clients in Melbourne and/or Sydney
• A proven track record of winning new business and growing commercial relationships
• Strong knowledge of the digital advertising ecosystem, ideally across programmatic, search, social, video and native
• Commercial confidence and the ability to lead conversations with senior stakeholders
• Strong presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills
• A consultative approach, with the ability to understand a client's objectives before recommending a solution
• Self-motivation and the ability to operate independently in a growth-focused environment
• Comfortable using CRM systems and working towards measurable revenue targets
