Job Function: Supply Chain and Logisitics

Employment Type:

Vinarchy - Redefining wine.
Established in 2025 following the merger of Accolade Wines and Pernod Ricard Winemakers, Vinarchy brings the best of these historic wine businesses into an exciting future, as one, new, exceptional global wine company.
Managing the entire wine supply chain - from grape to glass - Vinarchy produces wine in Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Italy, South Africa, Chile and the United States, with employees in almost every continent around the world.
Vinarchy’s diversified portfolio includes our global pillars Jacob’s Creek, Hardys, and Campo Viejo, alongside growth drivers - Grant Burge Wines, Stoneleigh, Jam Shed, Brancott Estate, Mud House, St Hugo, St Hallett and Petaluma - that are accelerating the category globally.
Corser, Tatachilla, Greasy Fingers, Cupio, Tapabrava, Castillo de Ibiza, J-Harden and Dolly Wines are the future stars driving the industry forward, while Ysios, Church Road and Bay of Fires are fine wine jewels crafted by some of the world’s best winemakers.
Innovative, ambitious and imaginative, Vinarchy challenges the conventions of the industry to lead, shape and grow the future of the wine category.

Ready to kick‑start a hands‑on trade career in a fast‑paced, industrial environment?

At Vinarchy’s Berri Estates, you’ll step into an apprenticeship that blends real‑world learning with formal training , all while supporting the safe, reliable and efficient operation of a site that produces wine enjoyed across the globe.

As an Electrical Apprentice, you’ll work alongside experienced tradespeople, learning how to diagnose faults, maintain equipment and keep critical systems running. Every day brings new challenges, new skills and the chance to contribute to a culture built on safety, teamwork and continuous improvement.

Your Key Accountabilities

You’ll grow your capability through structured learning and practical experience, gradually taking on more responsibility as your skills develop.

  • Participating in a structured electrical apprenticeship program, combining formal study with on‑the‑job training

  • Learning how winery equipment, systems and processes operate, from pumps and conveyors to automation and control systems

  • Building confidence in fault finding, maintenance techniques and electrical standards

  • Supporting preventative and corrective maintenance activities under supervision

  • Assisting with breakdown response in a safe, controlled manner

  • Contributing to housekeeping, workshop discipline and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Working with qualified tradespersons and contractors on maintenance tasks and project work

  • Developing the ability to interpret basic technical drawings and documentation

You don’t need years of experience, just the right attitude, curiosity and commitment to learning. We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Enrolled in (or ready to enrol in) a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician

  • Genuinely interested in electrical or mechanical systems

  • Safety‑focused, reliable and able to follow procedures

  • A strong communicator and team player

  • Comfortable using digital tools to complete job records and maintenance tasks

  • Organised, proactive and willing to take on additional training

  • Flexible with working hours, including shifts, weekends and overtime

  • Hold a current driver’s licence

Exposure to industrial equipment, basic fault‑finding, experience in maintenance/manufacturing, or a confined‑space certificate will be highly regarded.

Why This Role Matters

You’ll be part of a team committed to quality, safety and operational excellence. Our people take pride in doing things well — and you’ll be supported every step of the way through mentoring, structured development and opportunities to grow your trade career.

If you’re motivated, eager to learn and ready to build a future in the electrical trade, we’d love to hear from you.
