Ready for your next FIFO opportunity from Perth? We're seeking experienced Excavator Operators to join a well-established mining contractor at the King of the Hill Mine Project in Western Australia.

Myndshift Group have been engaged by our client partner, a leading mining contractor delivering safe and efficient operations at the King of the Hill Mine Project. We are currently seeking experienced Excavator Operators to join the site on a casual basis. Located approximately 230km north of Kalgoorlie near Leonora, King of the Hill is a significant gold mining operation in WA's Eastern Goldfields.

About the Role \n

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Excavator Operator to work across large production excavators on site. You'll work a 2/1 roster rotating across day and night shift, with FIFO from Perth and camp and meals provided. Starting on a casual basis, this role offers a genuine pathway to longer-term opportunities as future projects are secured.

• Excavator: Hitachi EX2600

• Excavator: Hitachi EX3600

Key Responsibilities \n

\n
• Operate large production excavators safely and efficiently across site
\n
• Complete daily pre-start checks and report any hazards or defects promptly
\n
• Follow site plans, instructions and traffic management requirements
\n
• Maintain a tidy work area and support safe, respectful interactions across all teams
\n
• Contribute positively to a people-first site culture
\n
• Support and share knowledge with teammates to help build a strong crew
\n

• $82.74 - $88.85 per hour (based on experience)

What We're Looking For \n

• Proven experience operating large production excavators
\n
• A safety-first mindset and strong personal accountability on site
\n
• A positive, team-oriented attitude that fits well within an established crew
\n
• Australian Work Rights and Driver's Licence
\n
• Current Pre-employment Medical & National Police Clearance
\n
• Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol Screen
\n
• Relevant RII competencies & training transcripts
