About the role
MSS Security is seeking a Full Time Security Officer to join our team in Cairns.
The successful candidate must hold a current NV1 Clearance and will have the opportunity to work within a professional and supportive environment.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Monitor CCTV cameras alarms access control systems and radio communications to maintain site safety and security.
- Manage visitor and contractor access issue passes and assist with site entry requirements.
- Respond to customer enquiries and communicate with emergency services and other stakeholders when required.
- Conduct foot patrols record incidents complete paperwork and maintain accurate records using computer systems.
Skills & Experience
- Must be an Australian Citizen
- Must hold a NV1
- Certificate II or higher in Security Operations
- Current QLD Security licence
- Current First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain)
- Must be available to work a 24/7 roster without restrictions
