The Future Generation Joint Venture brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of WeBuild, Clough and Lane and has been selected to design construct Snowy 2.0. This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world.

Snowy 2.0 is the next chapter in the Snowy Scheme's history. It is the largest committed renewable energy project in Australia and will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come. This Iconic Project has and will continue to create its own legacy in Australian history.

Purpose of the Role:

\n

Provide assistance to the E&M Subcontract Lead in the contractual management and administration to ensure risks are minimised and best for FGJV outcomes are achieved.

Qualifications:

\n

\n
• White Card
\n
• Relevant tertiary qualification Mechanical Engineering or equivalent relevant experience
\n

\n

Experience:

\n

\n
• Comprehensive knowledge of the commercial management and governance requirements of major infrastructure projects
\n
• Experience with estimation of E&M works
\n
• Minimum 5 years' experience in contracts administration of E&M works
\n
• Well-developed knowledge of the principles and practices of contract and commercial/finance management
\n
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, and high attention to detail
\n
• Ability to plan and organize workload appropriately, combined with a willingness to undertake routine task
\n
• Sound interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships
\n
• Ability to understand and articulate contractual rights and positions
\n
• Proven ability to organize and prioritize tasks, be flexible and resourceful, proactive and professional in manner with a high degree of self-motivation
\n

Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Manage subcontract progress payment claims, variations, contractual claims and final accounts in accordance with the terms of subcontracts
\n
• Manage contractual claims and final accounts, ensuring timely payment
\n
• Manage contractual issues associated with client / subcontractors/suppliers and provide advice to delivery and management teams on contractual issues
\n
• Assist the E&M Subcontract Manager in the preparation of monthly reports, correspondence registers, and other registers
\n
• Manage the compilation and collation of cost related information and reports
\n
• Analyse financial and costs reports, identifying existing or potential variances/trends, providing recommendations as appropriate for agreement with the Department
\n
• Oversee the target cost estimate process for the project confirming that the rail team procedures are adhered to, and that the value for money is being achieved.
\n
