General Labourers & Casual Trade Assistants Wanted

Minimum $35.11 Per Hour Super Daily Travel Allowance Immediate Start

Earn $1400 Per Week While Working With Some of Australias Best Employers

Are you an experienced General Labourer or Trade Assistant looking for consistent work excellent weekly pay and the opportunity to secure permanent employment

At Local Workforce Hire we supply skilled casual staff to builders landscapers manufacturers shopfitters and industrial businesses throughout the region. Many of our casual employees are offered permanent positions after proving themselves on site making this an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career.

What Youll Be Doing

Every day is different with opportunities to work across a variety of industries including:

  • Commercial and residential landscaping
  • Residential and commercial construction
  • Warehouse fit-outs and pallet racking installations
  • Shopfitting and carpentry projects
  • Demolition and strip-out work
  • General labouring across manufacturing and industrial sites
  • Container unloading
  • Site clean-ups and final cleans
  • General manual handling duties

Typical tasks include:

  • Site preparation and clean-up
  • Wheelbarrowing materials
  • Digging and trenching
  • Lifting and carrying materials
  • Packing and stacking
  • Assembling products
  • Assisting qualified tradespeople
  • General labouring duties as required

What Were Looking For

To join our team you must have:

  • Minimum 12 months experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant
  • Construction White Card
  • A current Driver Licence and reliable transport (highly preferred)
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Reliability and punctuality

PPE Requirements

You must supply your own PPE including:

  • Steel-capped boots
  • Hard hat
  • Safety glasses
  • Work gloves
  • High-visibility clothing
