Job Description

\n

o Design and implementWDAC policies using XML and convert them to binary for enforcement.

\n

\n
• Deploy WDAC policies via Microsoft Intune, EndpointConfiguration Manager (ConfigMgr), or PowerShell.
\n
• Configure audit mode before enforcement to minimizedisruption and validate policy effectiveness.
\n
• Security & Compliance:
\n
• Align WDAC implementation with regulatoryrequirements and organizational security frameworks.
\n
• Integration & Management:
\n

\n

o Integrate WDAC withMicrosoft Defender Antivirus and other endpoint security tools.

\n

\n
• Enable managed installer functionality for automatedtrust of Intune-deployed applications.
\n
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
\n

\n

o Analyze WDAC logs usingMicrosoft Security tools (e.g., Advanced Hunting) to refine policies.

\n

\n
• Resolve application blockage issues and maintainpolicy updates for evolving business needs.
\n
• Documentation & Training:
\n

\n

o Maintain detaileddocumentation of WDAC configurations and deployment processes.

\n

\n
• Provide training and support for IT teams andend-users on WDAC policies.
\n

\n

Strong knowledge ofWindows security architecture, application control, and endpoint protection.

\n

\n
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, ConfigMgr,and PowerShell scripting.
\n
• Familiarity with Code Integrity policies, audit vsenforcement modes, and policy signing.
\n

\n

Ability to managelarge-scale deployments and troubleshoot complex WDAC issues.

\n

Preferred Experience:

\n

\n
• Previous experience implementing WDAC in enterpriseenvironments.
\n
• Understanding of Zero Trust security models andcompliance frameworks.
\n
• Knowledge of ASD Essential Eight or similar securityhardening guidelines.
