About the Facility

19 theatres, expanding to 21 in January 2027. A robotics-heavy surgical service and Australia's first accredited Robotic Surgery Centre of Excellence.

The Role

This is a genuine management role. You will lead the department rather than remain the clinical expert, supported by ACNMs and floor coordinators across scrub/scout, anaesthesia, PACU and support services.

In this role, you will:

• Lead a theatre workforce of around 400 people across scrub/scout, anaesthesia, PACU and support
• Lead an 8-project strategic improvement plan already underway
• Lead a major rostering overhaul and the opening of two additional theatres in early 2027

What You Will Bring

• A scrub/scout clinical background, essential
• Substantial perioperative leadership experience
• Confidence with budgets, KPIs, process and people leadership
• Strong computer literacy, including basic Excel
• AHPRA Registration
• Eligibility to work in Australia. Visa sponsorship may be considered for exceptional candidates.

Scrub/scout background is essential.

• Not-for-profit salary packaging of up to $15,900 for living expenses plus $2,650 for meals and entertainment, subject to provider rules
