We're looking for an energetic and commercially driven Sales Manager to join our pre-opening team and help bring the hotel to life before opening, then continue to grow the business long after the doors open.

\n

About the Role

\n

Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, you'll be responsible for driving revenue across a diverse portfolio including:

Corporate business

\n

Leisure and wholesale

\n

Entertainment

\n

You'll play a key role in building the hotel's market presence, developing strategic relationships and identifying opportunities that position Treehouse Adelaide as one of the city's most exciting places to stay, meet, dine and celebrate.

\n

This is not a role for someone who waits for business to come to them. We're looking for someone who enjoys opening doors, creating connections and finding opportunities where others don't.

During Pre-Opening You Will

\n

\n
• Develop and execute the hotel's sales action plan.
\n
• Build a strong pipeline of corporate, leisure and entertainment business.
\n
• Conduct client appointments, networking events and site inspections.
\n
• Establish key local partnerships across Adelaide's business, tourism and entertainment communities.
\n
• Work closely with Marketing to generate awareness before opening.
\n
• Represent Treehouse at industry events and trade shows.
\n
• Assist with opening strategies, launch events and market activation.
\n
• Collaborate with Operations to ensure a seamless transition from pre-opening into trading.
\n

Once Open, You'll Continue To

\n

\n
• Drive new business across your market segments.
\n
• Manage key accounts and develop long-term client relationships.
\n
• Achieve revenue and production targets.
\n
• Identify opportunities for incremental revenue across accommodation, meetings, food & beverage and events.
\n
• Analyse market trends and competitor activity.
\n
• Work collaboratively with Revenue Management and Operations to maximise commercial performance.
\n
• Be an ambassador for the Treehouse brand within the Adelaide community.
\n

We're Looking For Someone Who

• Has previous hotel sales experience, preferably within lifestyle or luxury hospitality.
\n
• Has established relationships within the Adelaide market (or can build them quickly).
\n
• Understands the corporate, leisure and entertainment segments.
\n
• Is commercially savvy and enjoys negotiating and closing business.
\n
• Loves networking and building authentic relationships.
\n
• Brings energy, curiosity and a positive attitude to everything they do.
\n
• Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
\n
• Is comfortable wearing multiple hats during a pre-opening.
\n
• Is collaborative, proactive and genuinely enjoys being part of a team.
