Are you a hospitality professional ready to run the floor at one of the most vibrant local taverns on the Gold Coast? The Oxenford Tavern is looking for a driven, floor-focused Assistant Manager who brings great energy to the room and knows how to keep a crew firing on all cylinders.

\n

"The Oxenford" is a buzzing local powerhouse. Whether it's a packed family dining rush in the bistro, a lively crowd watching major live sports in the bar, or managing our premier gaming room, this venue requires a leader who loves being right at the center of the action. We need someone with sharp operational instincts who can maintain elite standards and ensure our loyal local regulars receive gold-class hospitality every time they walk through the doors.

A Day In The Life Of An Assistant Manager

\n

• Get to know the locals so well they think you're part of the crew
\n
• Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe
\n
• Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
\n
• Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
\n
• Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift
\n

\n

Inherent Requirements

\n

\n
• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
\n

\n

About You

\n

\n
• You've been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block, and maybe already done some supervising
\n
• You've learned from great managers and now you're ready to step up
\n
• You've got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
\n
• You've got a current RSA/RSG, RMLV and Approved Managers Licence as per state requirements
\n

\n
