About the role:

We are on the search for a Maintenance Officer to join our Mitchelton team! You’ll be part of an experienced and dedicated team, helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for the residents of St Vincent’s Care Services, Mitchelton and Enoggera. Historically known as St Joseph's Villa, Madonna Villa and Oxford Park, our residential is a carefully restored former monastery with 176-beds and located less than 10kms from the Brisbane CBD.

Things that work for us:

• Permanent full-time position, with afterhours/on call may possibly be required

• Core hours are Monday to Friday, 0700-1500

• Ability to perform maintenance work and repairs across our Mitchelton and Enoggera sites

• Efficiently maintain the buildings, plant and equipment and supervise repairs/installations being completed by external contractors

• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to problem solve

• Trade qualification preferred

• Confident user of Microsoft office and Mobile applications

• Aged or Community care experience, desirable

• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills

• Ability to follow directives as per care plan

• Able to apply for a National Police Certificate
