  • Preparing monthly financial reports and variance analysis for partners, practice groups, and firm management.
    • \n
  • Analysing revenue, work in progress, debtors, utilisation, realisation, recoverability, lock-up, and matter profitability.
    • \n
  • Supporting the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes, including preparation of financial models and assumptions.
    • \n
  • Providing analysis on business unit, office, partner, client, and matter performance.
    • \n
  • Monitoring key financial metrics and identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improved financial performance.
    • \n
  • Maintaining and improving reporting templates, data quality, and financial analysis processes.
    • \n
  • Generating ad-hoc analysis and reports as required by the Head of Finance and Financial Manager.
    • \n
  • Liaising with various departments to gather required financial information.
    • \n
  • Ensuring data accuracy and integrity across all financial reporting.
    • \n
  • Other ad-hoc duties.
    • \n

About the Candidate

We are looking for a Financial Analyst with experience in legal or professional services. Candidates should:

    \n
  • Have previous experience in a Financial or Business Analyst role.
    • \n
  • Possess excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accurate records.
    • \n
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
    • \n
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to develop effective partnerships with stakeholders.
    • \n
  • Demonstrate the ability to liaise with people at all levels and build strong relationships.
    • \n
  • Maintain a strong work ethic and collaborate well within a team.
    • \n
  • Adhere to confidentiality requirements at all times.
    • \n
