Job description

The SunRice Group is an Australian ASX-listed branded food group, comprising multiple businesses, assets and operations across Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East, the United States, The Pacific Islands and Asia. SunRice was built by the Australian rice industry over many decades and today is one of Australia’s leading branded food exporters, with approximately 2,000 employees and operations in 11 countries.

SunRice is a great place to work, providing a real opportunity for passionate people to make a difference.

About The Role

Are you someone who loves bringing programs, people and ideas together? Do you thrive on organisation, enjoy juggling multiple projects and get real satisfaction from helping people learn, grow and succeed?

We're looking for a Group Organisational Development Coordinator to join our People & Culture team and play a key role in delivering some of SunRice's most exciting people initiatives.

Supporting our Group Organisational Development team, you'll help coordinate a diverse portfolio of programs that shape the employee experience across our global business. You'll play a key role in delivering leadership development initiatives, advancing AI literacy, coordinating the Jan Cathcart Memorial Scholarship and providing the people insights that help drive better decisions. No two days will be the same.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their People & Culture or Organisational Development career who wants exposure to enterprise-wide people programs, senior stakeholders and projects that make a real impact across our global business. You'll help deliver initiatives that shape leadership capability, employee development and organisational culture, while learning from a highly experienced and supportive OD team.

Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Coordinating the delivery of organisational development, learning and leadership programs across the Group
  • Supporting our annual performance and talent cycles, including communications, reporting and system administration
  • Managing learning logistics, enrolments, communications and learner support for a range of organisational development initiatives
  • Coordinating AI literacy, leadership and capability-building programs that help future-proof our workforce
  • Turning people data into meaningful insights through OD reporting, dashboards and analytics
  • Supporting employee engagement and listening initiatives through survey administration and reporting
  • Coordinating the end-to-end administration of the Jan Cathcart Memorial Scholarship, including nominations, communications and events
  • Keeping key OD projects and initiatives on track through effective coordination, planning and stakeholder communication
  • Partnering with stakeholders across People & Culture and the wider business to deliver a great employee experience
  • Contributing to a variety of strategic people initiatives that support leadership, capability, engagement and organisational effectiveness

About You

You're highly organised, naturally curious and love being the person who brings structure to moving parts. You enjoy working across a variety of projects, build strong relationships with ease and take pride in delivering a great experience for stakeholders.

Equally comfortable coordinating programs, analysing data and managing competing priorities, you're eager to build your career in Organisational Development while contributing to initiatives that make a real impact across the business.

You Will Bring

  • Experience in Organisational Development, Learning & Development, Human Resources or a related People & Culture role
  • Strong coordination and project administration skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Confidence working with data, reporting and dashboards, and an ability to turn information into meaningful insights
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • Experience working with HR, learning, talent or people systems would be highly regarded
  • A collaborative mindset and genuine passion for people, learning and organisational growth

What’s In It For You

At SunRice Group, we believe great work starts with feeling supported, valued and inspired. When you join our team, you’ll enjoy a range of benefits designed to support your wellbeing, growth and everyday life.

  • SunRice Product Allowance : Take home a taste of what we do best. You’ll receive a weekly allowance of SunRice Group products, so you can enjoy and share the food we’re proud to make.
  • Leave: Enjoy competitive leave benefits, including volunteer leave and the option to purchase additional leave when you need extra flexibility.
  • Wellness Reimbursement: Your wellbeing matters. Twice a year, you’ll be reimbursed for fitness memberships or other health and wellbeing initiatives that help you feel your best

If you enjoy getting into the detail, simplifying complexity, and supporting teams that keep food moving from farms to families, this is a place where your work truly matters.

All correspondence will be dealt with in strict confidence.

SunRice is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. SunRice will consider qualified applicants for employment based on their merit, individual skills, qualifications and other appropriate criteria relevant to the role for which they are applying.
