Job description

Use your strong leisure travel consulting experience and GDS skills to make the move into the MICE sector.

THE COMPANY

  • Our client is a highly regarded Professional Conference Organiser with an impressive portfolio of accounts and a strong reputation for delivering exceptional conference and event travel solutions.
  • As a specialist in the MICE sector they manage a range of international and domestic programs.
  • They now have the opportunity for an experienced and passionate Travel Consultant to join their high-performing team.

THE ROLE

As part of this small and professional team, you will play a key role in managing group travel arrangements and delivering outstanding service to delegates and stakeholders.

Your day may involve:

  • Managing group travel bookings and coordinating all itinerary components, including flights, accommodation, transfers, and ancillary services.
  • Assisting with pre- and post-conference leisure travel arrangements, including extended touring options.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal teams and external suppliers to support successful event outcomes.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Previous experience as a Leisure Travel Consultant (essential)
  • Experience managing group travel bookings (highly desirable)
  • Strong GDS proficiency
  • Excellent communication, organisational and customer service skill
