Casual Shift Leader

At Guzman y Gomez, we believe in authentic flavours and the power of food to bring people together. As aShift Leader atGYG, you will play a pivotal role in shaping unforgettable dining experiences.

We are looking for people that are available casual, with some shifts including overnights (10pm-6am).

Your role will include:

• Team up with fellow managers to train, lead, coach and inspire your crew while keeping the energy high on every shift
• Champion a "customer-first" mindset by delivering standout service to both new faces andregular guests
• Maintaining high quality foodsafety, cash handling, cleaning and stock control
• Be a proud ambassador of GYG by making sure all crew members live and breathe ourvalues, policies and procedures
• Communicate clearly and confidently with the restaurant team to keep everyone aligned
• Be hands‑on with managing labour and COGS to help drive a successful, profitable store
• Oversee deliveries like a pro, ensuring orders are accurate and match invoices

We appreciate diverse experience, but specifically, we are looking for candidates who have:

• Leadership or supervisory experience in a fast‑paced environment
• A track record of providing outstanding customer service
• Completed or willingness to complete Food Safety Supervisor certificate
• Completed or willingness to undertake Responsible Service of Alcohol course
