We're looking for an Account Manager to grow and manage our existing enterprise accounts. Someone who can hold a technical conversation about a Databricks Lakehouse, then turn it into a commercial outcome.

\n

The Account Manager manages the sale of Databricks-native data, analytics and AI professional services to existing clients, and identifies further sales opportunities within these accounts. The role builds new account relationships, manages customer satisfaction and retention, and coordinates the preparation and presentation of sales proposals and tenders.

What You'll Do

\n

\n
• Client engagement - visiting regular and prospective client businesses to establish and act on selling opportunities
\n
• Solution selling - assessing customers' needs and explaining the Databricks-native goods and services that meet them, positioning solutions rather than off-the-shelf product
\n
• Proposals and tenders - coordinating the preparation and presentation of sales proposals, tenders and statements of work
\n
• Account management - following up with clients to ensure satisfaction with goods and services purchased, arranging modifications and resolving any problems arising
\n
• Growth within accounts - identifying further sales opportunities within existing accounts to grow revenue and retention
\n

What We're Looking For

• Qualification - a bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business, IT or related discipline), or at least five years of relevant account management experience
\n
• Experience - proven experience selling enterprise or public sector business solutions, into enterrpise accounts
\n
• Domain fluency - comfort discussing data platforms, analytics and AI concepts credibly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
\n
• Account discipline - a proven track record of managing customer satisfaction and retention across a live account book
\n
• Strong Relationships - with Databricks Sales and/or Alliances teams
\n
