About The Role

\n

Middy's is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to drive sales growth, develop new business and strengthen customer relationships within the branch.

\n

This is a hands‐on sales leadership role focused on achieving revenue and gross‐profit targets, growing the customer base and supporting strong sales performance across the branch. You will use your industry knowledge, commercial awareness and customer relationships to identify opportunities and convert them into sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive branch sales, revenue and gross profit targets.
\n
• Identify and secure new business opportunities and grow active customer accounts.
\n
• Manage the sales pipeline and customer opportunities through CRM.
\n
• Drive quote conversion through effective follow-up and sales activity.
\n
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and uphold high service standards.
\n
• Promote Middy's products and services to grow existing and new accounts.
\n
• Monitor market, product and industry trends to identify sales opportunities.
\n
• Support and coordinate sales activities across the branch and with operations.
\n
• Maintain accurate customer and sales information within CRM systems.
\n
• Support branch promotions, customer events and business development initiatives.
\n
• Identify opportunities to improve sales processes, market share and business performance.
\n
• Ensure sales activities comply with company policies, relevant regulations and QHSE requirements.

About You

\n

\n
• Minimum 5 years' experience in the electrical wholesale industry.
\n
• Proven experience in sales or business development.
\n
• Strong customer service, communication and relationship-building skills.
\n
• Commercial awareness, including experience managing margin/GP%.
\n
• Experience using CRM systems to manage sales pipelines and activities.
\n
• The ability to coordinate effectively across sales and operations.
\n
• A valid driver's licence.
\n
• A proactive, self‐motivated and commercially focused approach.
\n

\n

A Diploma of Business or higher specialising in sales/business development, or a valid forklift licence, will be highly regarded.
