Digital Marketing Assistant (Start ASAP)

Bottrell Media seeks a proactive Digital Marketing Assistant to support campaign execution and content creation in Newcastle & Maitland.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Assist in scheduling, monitoring, and engaging on social media platforms to grow client and company online presence.
• Support development of content including social media posts, blog articles, email newsletters, and digital ads.
• Assist in setting up and optimizing digital marketing campaigns such as email, search, and display ads.
• Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activities to support marketing strategy development.
• Support client communication and engagement, ensuring timely updates and high-quality service.

About You

The company is looking for:

• A degree or certification in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) and marketing fundamentals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and meet deadlines within a collaborative team environment.
