This 12 GP practice in Port Macquarie are recruiting for 2 Doctors to join their surgery.
It is a modern, purpose built, standalone building with GP consulting rooms that look out onto the sea.
The practice has been established for 8 years and was so busy that they had around 50 new patients registering per day. The Doctors are currently fully booked, and the demand is still such that they need another 2 GPs to join their team.
This is a high earning mixed billing practice with current Doctors billing $2-4k per day.
The practice is open 8am to 5pm on weekdays only.
There are 15 consulting rooms in the surgery, and you will be supported by practice managers, admin staff and 3 efficient nurses. There is on site pathology and a range of services provided including psychology, physiotherapy, audiology, exercise physiology dietician, diabetic educator, and speech therapy.
It’s a well-run practice, will excellent IT systems and an enthusiastic, friendly team that ensure Doctors can offer the highest level of patient care and enjoy a great work life balance too.
The Location
Port Macquarie is located almost midway between Newcastle and Coffs Harbour (approximately 2.5 hours either way). It has a population of nearly 80,000 and is widely regarded as one of the most liveable towns in Australia.
There are a number of excellent private and state primary and high schools in the area, a great University along with plenty of shopping, recreational and sports facilities.
