Your Role

Join the Vinnies retail team in Coogee as casual Retail Sales Assistant. This role aims to support generating funds that will leave a lasting impact to the Society's good works. You will have a genuine appreciation for the value of pre-loved items generously donated by people in the local community. Win customers through your positive engagement skills and compelling sales pitches that can turn conversations into conversions. You will carry out a range of hands-on tasks that include sorting and pricing of donations, visual merchandising and filling stock on shelves and racks etc. Your flexibility in performing a variety of tasks will help you learn and grow your retail career at Vinnies.

Your Responsibility

  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Ensure compliance with Vinnies policies and procedures
  • Replenish stock on the sales floor
  • Use your creative flair in assisting with visual merchandising
  • Sort and price items according to Vinnies pricing guidelines
  • Contribute to achieving sales targets of the store.

You Will Need

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Flexibility and availability during weekends and peak times
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Energetic drive to support the team in achieving sales targets
  • Understanding of fashion and trends.
