About the Role

This is a hands-on Senior Accountant role with real responsibility across your own portfolio.

Your focus will be on delivering high-quality accounting and tax compliance work, while building strong client relationships and developing your technical capability. You’ll prepare financial statements and tax returns across individuals, companies, trusts and super funds, and manage ongoing compliance requirements including BAS, IAS and ATO interactions.

You’ll work directly with clients to resolve queries, gather information and support their ongoing needs, while also assisting with tax planning activities under guidance.

Internally, you’ll play an important role in the team - supporting junior accountants, answering questions, and helping ensure work is delivered accurately and on time. You’ll manage your own workflow, stay on top of deadlines, and contribute to a team environment where people can rely on each other.

This role gives you the opportunity to strengthen both your technical skills and your confidence in managing client relationships - without losing the support around you.

Salary banding for this role is $89,600 - $115,000 inclusive of superannuation depending on experience.

About You

You’re already working in public practice and comfortable managing compliance work across a range of entities. You enjoy being organised, delivering accurate work, and building steady, professional relationships with your clients.

You'll bring a CA or CPA qualification (or be well on your way), along with three to five years of Business Services experience and ideally some mentoring exposure. You’re confident using systems like Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks, and have a solid understanding of Australian Tax.

You’re also someone who contributes positively to a team - reliable, approachable and willing to support those around you while continuing to learn yourself.
